I need to vent
I am so not myself lately. For the past month or so, I have not been able to sleep...up every 45 minutes for no reason...I am exhausted, nauseous sometimes and so constipated. I went out for dinner with my dad last night for my birthday and I started hysterically crying ...I think from just total exhaustion and lack of patience and I am I want to meet this little baby sooo bad (it actually makes me cry). I must be psycho! And I am only half way there...I sometimes feel like I wont make it Thanks for letting me vent!!

Re: I need to vent
Know that many of us are in the same boat as you. The hormones are making us uneasy and the anticipation of our little ones arrival is enough to drive us all nuts. We're here for you so vent away. Happy Birthday!!

Re: I need to vent
Genna, I know EXACTLY what you are going through. And, the people around me aren't much help expecting me to be chipper 24 hours a day.
I think it has to do with having a boy. Seriously, my grandma guessed that I was having a boy because she said I am so moody.
ETS: Happy Birthday

SO funny you posted this, because quite a few people told me the same thing - that the only reason they thought I was having a boy was because my emotions were TRULY thru the roof, and I'm extremely edgy/moody/upset/etc. One of those old wives tales that seem to be true for me!
Genna - Hang in there! I think many of us know how you are feeling, and what is worse is that you just cannot CONTROL the emotional rollercoaster you are on, try as you might. I have weeks where I am A-OK and then like the flip of a switch, I am upset, cranky, anxious, pizzed off at the silliest things .. and then to top it I can cry at the drop of a hat for NO good reason other than frustration at myself (this week has been one of my "hysterical crying at everything" weeks .. it freaks my DH out when I get like that )
All I can say is just allow yourself to go with those feelings, don't fight it, and realize that this is all perfectly normal! And you will get through this!!
PS: HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!

Re: I need to vent
Totally your hormones. I feel that way on these hot days, like I want these buys out of me so bad, but we have renovations going on in our upstairs house which is stressing me out, because Im so worried that it wont get done in time. There are day when i feel sick, but i think it is the weather. I cant sleep, so as you get further along it gets very uncomfortable. I cant do the things I normally do without feeling out of breath. Hang in there sweetie....it gets better when you have your little angel in your arms very soon. It is ok to cry. I do all the time for NO REASON

Re: I need to vent
Hang in there. The weather combined with the hormones can make this unbearable. I am almost half way too and I feel the same way. Each week someother new symptom shows up and I get frustrated. I vent and cry to my DH daily. Don't worry we are all in the same boat and understand what you are going through.

Re: I need to vent
Totally hormones- plus that awful weather you guys are having. I started the crying jags the other day- boy are they fun. I just cry for no reason- happy, sad, frustrated- doesn't matter.
Whoever things pregnancy is the most glorious event is either having a perfect one or is nuts

Re: I need to vent
awww Genna I'm sorry you're feeling blue. I posted the other night how I couldn't stop crying after my mom came to visit and left. I was sooo sad for some reason. It's not like she's going far - I guess between the heat and hormones we just can't help it!!!
I hope you are feeling better soon!!! and Happy Birthday!!!
