My mom does the same thing. I know she thinks she's helping, but she usually adds to the situation.

I totally understand how you feel my MIL does this to me.. I hate it sometimes its better to not go to these things I guess I now know why my sister used to RSVP No to these functions she has 4 kids.

Thats how my MIL is, she always feels the need to say something to Julia bad or good when I am, it drives me NUTS!! I have to tell her sometimes that I GOT IT, don't worry relax!! I'm the mom!!

I know exactly how you feel. I get the "you should be doing this" "you shouldn't be doing this" "well we did this when you were kids" "dont always listen to the dr". It get so frustrating I feel like anging my head against the wall sometimes My mom is our only baby-sitter but its gotten to the point I dont even want to ask her to watch DS b/c she aggravates me so much sometimes.
