I need to hear positive stories.. Im all freaked out again

So im surfing the site and came across sad sad threads. My heart breaks for these moms that have lost their babies so far into pregnancy. I thought when i hit 34 weeks i was home free and could relax. Now i read about babies dying 8 days after birth (full term) and 35 weeks. Im so scared that something is going to go wrong or im gonna mess up and cause something to go wrong. How are you all staying soooo calm.

Please stay away from those sad stories!!!!!!!! I know it sounds cruel, but for every person's loss, there are still thousands of babies that are born healthy (or even with complications) that go on to lead healthy lives.

Best thing to do is try and stay away from reading those. No one knows the fate our babies will have. The worrying does not stop no matter the age. My dd is 15m old and I still have this fear your talking about... its called motherhood. Im terrified something will happen to both my dd and baby #2.. but just got to keep faith that nothing bad will happen. Chat Icon

No good can come from worrying about the unknown, something you have no control over. Please relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy! Chat Icon

don't read the stories!!! i don't even read the birth stories on here, good OR bad! I need to go into this with a clear mind, and so far, not having read all the stories out there, I feel completely fine and stress free about giving birth and the baby, etc.

Stop reading!!! Chat Icon

OMG I thought i was the only one who was reading those stories and getting totally freaked out! I am early in my pregnancy and it is still such a fradigle time but still it's terrifying. My fear now is that we will go for the 8 week sono and not hear the heartbeat, i've read a ton of those stories! Even had a nightmare about it...i am no longer reading any stories about that!!!!!

I purposely avoid threads like that. I don't want to drive myself crazy with worry.
