I need some help team green girls!!!
Ok, how do you resist the temptation of knowing the gender???? I have a DS and DD and I found out the gender with both. Wanted this one to be a surprise but I'm getting anxious. Any advice on how to hold out?!

Just think of how great it will be having all your family & friends on the edge of their seat wanting to hear about the sex when the baby is born! How your DH will get to tell everyone and how the doctor will say those magic words in the delivery room.
That's what I think of and I haven't swayed at all!

You just do. I think once i passed the 20 week mark of not knowing it became easier
I did it was DS and the best part was hearing... Congrats, it's a Boy
Then telling everyone and his name.
Pple that were team green with #1 and found out with #2 said they were dissapointed b/c they liked the element of surprise.
When the child was born she said she felt like everyone knew the name and sex so it was just the matter of time
I'm team green with this one as well and super excited

I am in the same exact boat, we have a DD and a DS, found out each time, and we are trying to be team for this one.
It gets a little easier with time-though I am only 9 weeks. I think the tough time will be in the sonos where they ask, "do you want to find out". I think I am just going to have them put it in my file not to ask-this way we won't be tempted.
I like the idea more and more-just to make this 3rd pregnancy a little more exciting.

I just kept reminding myself how much better the "It's a ______!!!" will be after hours of labor (or a c-section). It just seem SO much more exciting that way. Also, it builds a lot more excitement with friends/family when they don't know what you're having. My DH REALLY didn't want to know, so any time I felt like caving I just thought about how disappointed he'd be (and I really never cared one way or the other) and that kept me strong.

I am second time team green! I almost found out this time but I am so glad I didnt!
there is something MAGICAL about hearing 'Its a boy" and then having hte dr hand over your DC! There is nothing in the world that can duplicate that feeling!
You can do it!!! And I assure you, you wont regret it one bit!!!!

I have yet to have that moment of "It's a ......" in the delivery room since this is my first but, I tear up every time I think about that moment. The wait will be worth it!
I wavered a little bit right before the 20 week because my DH was giving me grief (because coworkers were giving him grief) but after that sono came and went, I haven't had that feeling again.

Keeping it for DC #1 was a great motivator when it was push time and I had spent all those months waiting and anticipating. this time around either...though I am tempted!

I think it's been really fun not knowing and I'm so excited for DH to go into the waiting room and make the announcement (and hopefully video the reactions!). I think if you can just get past the 20 week it's smooth sailing, at least it has been for me, since I don't think there will be another opportunity to find out. I don't think I get any more sonos?
I also think it's been fun to pick out gender neutral items instead of swimming in pink or blue. Although bedding was a bit tough.

It was my "motivation" that kinda got me through labor, I was super excited to find out and let all ppl know rt after DS was born, the suspense was killing the whole family though...
they all did a betting pool on the sex/weight/length , it was really cool, I think each pp put in like $5, the winner actually just told us to give the money to the baby  it was fun!
