Re: I need registry help

1. First Aid kits -doesn't matter
2. Grooming Kits -doesn't matter
3. Pacifiers - different babies will have different preferences. My DD only liked MAM. Best advice is to register for a couple different brands.
4. Onesies -NOT Gerber! They shrink. Carter's was our go-to for onesies
5. Bath Tub - We have and love the Whale of a Tub
6. Diapers - again, varies baby to baby. We use Pampers swaddlers
7. Wipes - We like Huggies brand because of the texture of the wipes
8. Crib Mattress - no clue what we have, but it is from BRU
9. Changing table mattress - We bought the least expensive, but nicely padded, changing pad
10.Shampoo - California Baby
11.Lotion - California Baby

Re: I need registry help

1. First Aid kits

I never use the ready-made one. If I had to make my own, I would get saline drops, the Nose Frieda, a thermometer, a medicine dropper, gripe water and gas drops.

2. Grooming Kits
Mine is Safety First, I think.

3. Pacifiers
Soothies

4. Onesies
A lot of people like Carters bc they are thicker, but I actually like the thin, cheapie ones because they are very thin and aren't bulky under clothes. I like the Gerber ones.

5. Bath Tub
Fisher Price

6. Diapers
We cloth diaper

7. Wipes
Huggies Natural Care

8. Crib Mattress
Sealy

9. Changing table mattress
Babies R Us

10.Shampoo
Babyganics or California Baby

11.Lotion
Coconut Oil or Babyganics

Re: I need registry help

I don't know how helpful I will be since our LO is not here yet but I went off of recommendations from BDTD mamas!

1. First Aid kits-I bought items separately but also picked up one of the med buddy kits for the diaper bag

2. Grooming Kits- Something from BRU and a separate brush for cradle cap that was highly recommended. They all have the same stuff in them.

3. Pacifiers- We bought a ton of soothies because they were BOGO and most moms loved them. We also grabbed a few Nuk and MDM I think it was just in case the baby hates the soothies.

4. Onesies- Mostly Carter's and Baby Gap. The Baby Gap stuff holds up really well. Also, some Children's Place. I bought some Gerber cheapie ones, as well before hearing from everyone that they shrink terribly. So I washed the 3 month ones, let them shrink a little and threw them in with my NB stuff.

5. Bath Tub- We bought the Finding Nemo tub because we liked it and it had a sling also. It was more because it was cute and the ratings on BRU were good. We also bought a Summer Infant Sponge for sink bathings and I was told by several people that it's awesome for newborns! Someone gave me a hand me down Fisher Price tub that seemed pretty big and was missing a sling.

6. Diapers- We have an assortment of Pampers, Huggies Naturals and Honest Co brands.

7. Wipes- Again with an assortment of unscented ones: Johnson & Johnson, Huggies and Honest Co.

8. Crib Mattress- We bought 2 so that we could stack them but they're the same brand, Safety 1st I think. In hindsight, I probably should have bought 2 different ones in case I didn't like one for some reason.

9. Changing table mattress-We skipped the changing table because I never use them when babysitting my nieces or nephews. We have a few of the reusable changing mats and some disposable ones, all of which came with things.

10.Shampoo- Aveeno, Honest Co, Johnson & Johnson & Mustella (some are trial size)

11.Lotion- Honest Co, Johnson & Johnson and Target brand
