I need paint help ASAP!
I am set on a color for my dining room:
BM Revere Pewter
I cannot decide what color to do in the living room which is the room adjacent to the DR. Our new couches haven't arrived yet so I am freaking out because I don't have a swatch! The color is called mouse and is a combo b/w a light grey and beige.
I literally have a blank canvas. No other furniture has been picked out (aside from the white dining room table we already have.)

Do you want an extreme contrast or similar but ligther color?
My LR is Revere Pewter. Love it. My adjacent rooms are one lighter color and one extremely contrasting color.
So what color family do you have in mind?

I think that I would need something lighter because the living room doesn't get great light.

I used the other color on the swatch called Edgecomb gray. It's a GORGEOUS color, just a tad lighter than RP and a bit more taupey.

Ok, honestly, that is what I am going to go with!!! I was playing around online and it seemed (obviously) to go with Revere Pewter beautifully. I need to make a quick decision b/c the painter is coming on Friday!
I will let you know how it turns out...and will probably be probing you for decortating advice b/c I have nothing in any of these rooms!!!!! 
ETA: I have another room that needs to be painted, the family room. They aren't right next to the other rooms but I want it to cooridnate. Do you have any other suggestions??? ( I feel like I should be paying you for decorating tips!)

It was a long drawn out decision for me....but sort of quick also. I was set on the RP. They painted my LR RP, I loved it. They painted my whole house. I was still torn on my kitchen and playroom...I had to decide. Wanted something drastically different but nothing else seemed to work for me. So I quickly chose it based on the swatch with the RP and the Edgecomb as related colors. And I am so glad I made that choice. It was the quickest (but longest ) choice I made but it was one of the best.
They ARE similar, I warn you. But the Edgecomb is less gray and more taupey, and they just compliment each other but without a drastic difference.

Well I used Raspberry truffle (BRIGHT COLOR but gorgeous). It goes great. I also used a light color for another room, color is Gray Wisp. Sort of a blueish greenish gray color (like Silver Sage by Restoration Hardware)...love that too next to the RP.
