i need a...
i had one of my first break downs tonight - i havent had one in a while but tonight i lost it.
The first time got pregnant it had taken me almost TWO years and we conceived thru IUI. i lost the baby due to a partial molar pregnancy and obviously i was devastated.
i got pregnant on my own five months later and it was a HUGE accomplishment for us and so far i have been happy. tonight i started flipping out that something is going to wrong again.
did u ever just feel like it is all too good to be true???? i am so happy and greatful that i have made it to week 26 but at the same time it still feels like that in the next 14 weeks something can really go wrong. i never wanted anything so bad in my life..
just needed a hug...DH had to leave to go work and he feels horrible b/c i was so upset when he left - so i came to my girls for backup...
sorry so long

I have no idea what it feels like to lose a baby, but I imagine it to be devastating.
And after all those months of TTC and having AF show up, that must have been horrible too.
I can totally see how you would have worries, but please, you are at 26 WEEKS! That is huge. Its so much easier for me to say, but please just try to enjoy the ride. Baby baking is such a stressful time...we go into it blind and just have faith that a healthy baby results.

Re: i need a...
I could have written your post a few months ago, as I felt exactly how you felt. I still have days I feel the way you do and I'm closing in on 38 wks
I had a miscarriage at 13 weeks last September, after I'd been trying for over 1 yr to get preggo. We were devastated and it took me some time to get over it, and in fact I'm not sure I ever DID get over it. But once I got pregnant again, it took me MONTHS before I could feel comfortable with this pregnancy, really embrace it and relax. Every appointment I would brace myself for some bad news, every time I went to the bathroom I expected to see blood - everytime I had another test or sonogram I was fearful of them finding something wrong with
I sit and think about how blessed I am now to have gotten this far... it is like a dream sometimes. I get soo emotional at at the thought of the first time I will hold my in my arms and it just overwhelms me at how blessed DH & I feel
I dont know if I can give "advice" because I think that anyone who has had a miscarriage or a loss tends to be more skittish the next time they become pregnant... its just so hard to relax and believe in that all is going to be OK. BUT you have made it to a great point in your pregnancy.... your baby is doing great! And I KNOW that this time all is going to continue to go well, and you will be holding your little girl in your arms soon... your dream WILL have come true!
Many more hugs for you

I can't even begin to understand what you've been through, but I do worry alot that something will go wrong or the baby won't be healthy. Sometimes it's hard not to think about it. I hope the rest of your pregnancy is very happy & healthy.

I feel so bad for anyone that this happens to...I really never feel there is anything that u can say that makes someone feel better.. All I can do is say i send u hugs. I know--by 26 weeks u are at a great point and actually almost there! I hope- u can enjoy the rest of this pregnancy stress free and just think of hoiding the baby very soon!

You will be fine. This is my first pregnancy and it was a suprise and I STILL worry on a regular basis that something is wrong all the time. I think it's somewhat normal to think that way, but don't worry, you are so far along, everything will be WONDERFUL!!!

26 weeks is fantastic!!! I can totally understand why you still worry, I'm sure I would in your shoes too. But you are getting really close now and you've been through all of the big tests. I know everything will work out great!

Re: i need a...
I'm still very early on and I feel the same way. We had two early miscarriages, 3 failed IUIs and miraculously got a BFP on our first IVF cycle.
I feel like I'm never going to be able to sit back, relax and enjoy this pregnancy and I'm going to look back one day and regret that.
It's a constant struggle. All I can say is try to take it one day at a time and focus on the positive each day.
