I love being a mom to 2 boys...however..my ONE gripe..
CLOTHING!!!
I swear. With all the designers in this world...why is it that I walk around gap, old navy and childrens place only to see a few racks half filled with yet more argyle vests or half zips...
The girls sections are filled with dresses and outfits for the holidays. Granted maybe there is more to come up with for little girls, but there could certainly be more out there for little boys!! I was so sad. I should have shopped earlier i guess, but i was just really amazed at the lack of clothing!!
I told my BF that maybe they'll just have to spend one christmas dressed in a red velvet dress and suck it up. LOL! They won't remember, right??

Agreed!!!
Which is why I may put mine in matching jeans and white button downs and bare feet for their pics... Not very Christmas-ish, but I hate everything I see!

Maybe it's b/c I have a girl too but I don't seem to mind what's out for boys. I always seem to find something I love. This year I got the plaid shirt and sweater vest from Hannah Andersson and DD has the coordinating dress.

I should have clarified in my post..it's more to do with having two boys...I don't want them to exactly match ...but its been so hard to find two things that look cute and coordinate. And if i DO spot something cute, there are no sizes!!
Off to try to find something online...hopefully i'll get something!

i agree, even though i have only one boy, it's always the same old thing. it never changes. i get that girl stuff can be "cuter" with patterns, but someone is going to become a billionaire when they finally come out with a different style of christmas clothing for boys.
and ryan would look adorable in a red velvet dress. i can lend you a hairbow if you want! johnny should do a skirt and shirt--fits his body type better

 I know, boys clothing is the worst. I always like the Kenneth Cole outfits from Macy's. Osh Kosh had some really cute outfits this year too.

agree. gap kids has 8575747 racks of girl stuff and like 2 for boys..LOL.
i was in payless near me looking for black dress shoes for DS xmas pics, size 5. 98% of size 5's were all girls..and then there were like 4 lonely pairs of boys shoes in size 5...one of which were black. Good grief...
