I know exactly what you are going through. I went for a sono at 10 weeks and they told us it wasn't a viable pregnancy. This was in November. We also had a D&C. It was a simple easy procedure and over very quickly. However, I am still trying to cope with the loss now. It's not easy. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. Many to you

FWIW, the actual D+C is not bad. It's more emotionally draining than physical pain.

So very sorry you are going through this. The procedure itself is not bad, I have had three and only once had some painful cramping after. Just try to relax and take some time for yourself. Like the others girls said, it is more emotionl pain then anything else. Day by day you will start to feel a little better, but it does take some time.

soooo sorry. I went through the exact same thing at the end of March last year. I won't lie, its hard. As far as the d&c goes, it was very easy and smooth. I had no complications. Just know one day you will be pregnant again and happier days lie ahead.

I am so sorry, I lost the previous pregnancy at almost 11 weeks just couple of months ago , my heart goes out to you
I had a D&C under anesthesia , I wouldn't do it without it. I had it done at the hospital. It wasn't painful or anything, by the time I woke up everything was over and I felt "fine" physically.
Emotional pain stays with you for a long time , maybe forever, but I do think that getting a D&C makes dealing with things tiny bit easier.

I am so very sorry for your loss
I lost two pregnancies...the hope of three babies...and in my experience the pain changes in stages but the loss remains. On my due dates I remember what would have been and it makes me sad. I allow myself that and so should you. Feel what you feel - it's part of the process.

I had a D&C at about the same time as you. The anestesia was fine. I was crampy and bleeding for a few days after, but otherwise okay. Good luck and sorry for your loss
ETA: Emotionally I was a wreck for about a year. Not sure if my IF played a part in that but it took me a long time to get over it. Now, 5 years later, I sometimes think of how old that baby would be or if the baby was a girl/boy. At this point, though, I truly accept the fact that it happened for a reason and I am fine.

Thank you ladies. I am truly grateful for all your kind words. It has help alot. I went fir presurgical this morning. Very anxious for Tuesday. Im trying to stay positive. I have 2 beautiful healthy kids at home. Im trying to sell my home and planning a big move to Florida so emotionally and physically it might be for the best. Im really just trying to make myself feel better. I know this is a process and hopefully being busy will help ease the process. But thank you all again
