I lost someone very special yesterday.
My grandmothers passed away when I was younger but I didn't know them well, so it didn't have an effect on me.
So this is the 1st time in my 42 yrs that I lost someone dear to me.
I dated her son from 1984-1992. My dd was only 5 months old at the time and Priscilla welcomed us with open arms from day one. We always remained close and till the day she left us, she considered my daughter her granddaughter and my grandson her greatgrandson.
My daughter is beside herself right now since she is out of state and can't make it back here.
Priscilla had been battling lung cancer for about 2 yrs and she lost her battle yesterday morning
My husband and I went up to see her Saturday morning and were heartbroken. We knew in our hearts this would be the last time we would be seeing her
I still can't believe she is gone
