Is too many a valid answer?? 
For months we were doing it every other night until I got my surge then we would do it every night.
Once we started medicated cycles I would say once or twice a week until the surge and then as much as we could until the surge passed.

If it's at least 2-3 times a week (we're still newlyweds ), I'd say between 8-12 times....maybe less maybe more????
