I just watched a Baby Story .....
and the husband was saying how HE is against the epidural and that he is not allowing his wife to have it, and that he believe child birth should be as naturally as possible.
Now, im not suggesting that everyone should get an epidural, but who the hell is he to say anything, like he should be able to make the decision for her, and the poor girl needed it.
Well she got it, and he as saying how disappointed he was. I was just ready to smack him threw the TV.

I saw this one awhile ago and was so disgusted. I wouldn't marry a P.O.S. like that. if my DH dares to say anything somewhat negative about ANYTHING during the labor, his *** is being thrown out and i'll be calling my lawyer haha. he was joking around awhile ago and said i better have a "natural" (hate that word) childbirth without drugs and i said "you better find someone else to impregnate"

Huh...the nerve! I've never asked for an epidural but if my DH ever told me I couldn't or wasn't, HA! you'd see how fast I got the anesthesiologist in the room.

crashing here but I just wanted to add that if he wants to push a watermelon out his nostril, then he can tell me what to do. Walk the walk and talk the talk.

Ugh, I've seen episodes that make me crazy but I think that takes the cake.
Men have no idea what labor feels like. It's not just really bad menustral cramps, of which they don't know what that feels like either.
So, as others have said, when he wants to put a 7 pound baby through 10 cms without drugs, be. my. guest.
