I just want to cry

I just need to get this out-

I am pregnant with my third baby- almost 37 weeks- third c-section is scheduled for July 9th. I have a 4 year old son and a 3 year old daughter.

Since I found out I was pregnant in late October, my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. I have been her emotional support and arranging for caregivers when she needs them. I work part-time and she was watching my little ones twice a week- since then my in-laws took over most of it but I have had to scrounge for mother's helpers, etc.

We moved TWICE in the past nine months- we already were in contract on out house and had no choice- so we moved once in with my in-laws and then into our new home when it was ready.

My mom was very ill in the hospital a few weeks ago- a reaction to medicine- I was running from work, to the city, walking 7 avenues to the hospital when I couldnt get a cab thank God she is much better. I am just TIRED- I have a fever- 2 tylenol every 4 hours- I am just beat and need to vent- I need to count my blessings- my mom is doing well, baby is healthy, children are healthy and DH is always loving and supportive- I am just sore and achy.

What a long nine months- just needed to vent.

I'm so sorry you're dealing with all this, but it does sound like it's getting better. THank goodness your mom is getting better and you'll be in your new home b4 you know it.

Wow! What a handful. TWO handfuls!

First of all, I hope you feel better.

Second of all, God only gives us what we can handle... or so they say. Even though it seems like a lot sometimes.

I can totally relate... my mom is battling Uterine Cancer. Plus, she broke her leg in three places in December and is STILL in a wheelchair, going through rehab and fighting stupid infections that stall her progress. In fact, we told her about our being pregnant while she was in the hospital on Christmas Day. I never thought in a million years that she would still be in a wheelchair at this point - and she has been planning my shower through it all. She's so strong! I'm in your boat with being pregnant (on bedrest) and trying to be there for her, too. It's tough and when you sit down and write it all down, it seems like more than one person can take. I'm sure even tougher already being a parent of two little ones! But, one day at a time makes it a little easier.

We just have to THANK GOD that He has taken care of our moms through all the crap - even though it came with a lot of help from us.

I pray for both you and your mom!

Im so sorry you are going through all of this while being pregnant. Im glad your mom is doing well!

Ugh - you deserve a medal!!! I really think that once your baby is born and a couple months old you should plan a nice long spa day for yourself. Maybe even an overnight in a hotel if you are comfortable leaving the baby. In fact, I would plan it now so you have it in the back of your head as something to look forward to!

I moved a bunch of times while i was pregnant with my second because we did a complete reno on my house and I thought that was bad!

Thank you everyone- it was nice to vent and get some hugs!

This was just the most stressful 9 months of my life and getting a fever at 37 weeks just pushed me over the edge. I am feeling grateful to have the help of my ILs. My FIL came over and instead of me going to work I napped on and off from 1-5pm- no more fever right now!

aww that really does sound rough. so sorry for all the things you had to go through during this pregnancy.

hopefully things just get better from here on out.

so sorry you are dealing with all of this!!! i'd be exhausted as well. all you can do is take it day by day! stay strong! and prayers for your mom!
