I JUST WANT
to say a BIG HUGE THANK YOU to everyone for getting me through my "Grandpa scare". I wish I could hug every one of you!!!!  
As I type this, Grandpa is being discharged after 2 weeks of ICU care. He'll never be "healed", but he's alive, and that's all I really need. He can't leave his home for the winter - he's on oxygen 24/7.
I'd be devastated if it was his time to go - he means SO MUCH to me. Thank you all for understanding that, keeping us in your prayers, and giving me hugs and a place to vent.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY CHANUKAH, and I hope everyone enjoys their family this year.
I know the holiday season is hectic, expensive, and just overwhelming....but it flies by so fast. Cherish it!

He actually cried last night at dinner....he said that it means the world to him that we're all together at Christmas and he doesn't know what he'd do without us  - I'M SO GLAD TO HAVE HIM BACK!
