I just gotta get it out...
BFN.
For now, I'm done. I need to regroup. IVF is not an option financially for us right now, or ever.
By no means am I done trying, but right now I'm not really sure what to do. These meds killed me financially, and Dr. B said three iui's before we went on to IVF, and like I said, that's not an option right now.
Insurance sux azz and we really, really need to take a stand with our legistators. This just isn't right.

If we do get pregnant, I will have lots of leftover meds that I'd be happy to give to you! I know that doesn't help MUCH.. but it can still help you get on your way.

I have been where you were. Our Dr said 3-5 iuis till IVF. We ended up doing 13 IUIs for differnt reasons but we had no choice but to move to IVF and our insurance covered none of it.
We did apply for the grant and got a nice chunk and basically borrowed and maxed out our savings to pay for the rest the grant didnt cover.
The grant gives money to couples making up to 200K a yr...so I'm sure if are having trouble affording it, you must be under those guidlines? ( sorry if that was presumptious of me to say).

I will say if you are going to do that to give yourself a few months-go organic, acupuncture, read the infertility cure by Randine Lewis and pre your body so you have the best chaces possible. We did that and were successful on our 1st IVF with an fsh of 14.9!

Thank you, both. You make me see the light at the end of what I think is a verrrrry looooooooooooong tunnel for me.
I did apply for the grant two years ago and got a few $$, but didn't need it as I got my bfp on my last iui. I'm going to do it again to see what happens this time.
