I just don't get it..
I've seen the same picture on FB today THREE times , posted by three normally pretty rational people..its a pic comparing obama to hitler. It made me ill. this is it...i just don't get it. I don't care if you can't stand Obama..this is over the top NONSENSE. People are LOSING THEIR MINDS!!!

it's one thing to compare the act of banning guns as a sign of oppression. It's another to compare an American President to Hitler.
If thy make this connection though, they are not allowed to use the socialist card. Pick a side - socialist or facist...

Because saying that they were banned by the Treaty of Versailles, which is the reality, doesn't meet their needs? The same sort of things were posted very early in Obama's 1st term (when he did that video for the 1st day of school telling the children to stay in school & study hard- that he was going to indoctrinate our children like the Hitler Youth). I think the people who create this stuff assume their target audience isn't going to fact check, which by the fact that they are reposting or liking these things, is a correct assumption. It's really quite sad & disturbing, actually.

I just don't get it..
I was just coming on to post a vent about this very thing. I am SO sick of people posting fake quotes from heroes and villains to make their political points. Just in the past week, I've seen fake quotes in Facebook from Hitler, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson.... Just to name a few. I used to just ignore it, but lately I've started commenting with the Snopes links to this stuff. People are so stupid. The older I get, the less patience I have for this kind of stuff.

oh dear god..people are losing their minds. Im no Obama fan, but that is just utterly ridiculous.
the day of the Newtown shooting when I saw Obama on TV, I genuinely felt terrible for him, that he had to make a statement about what happened. You can see as a parent how upset he was.
this and the conspiracy videos saying Newtown was a govt. act just blows me away...

I don't agree with this photo. However, to the previous poster- people are posting pictures of Washington and Jefferson because the Constitution is not to be f----ed with. Obama is messing with it. Not happy.

I think everyone has lost their minds. I guess facebook is a place for everyone to share their opinion. I have now blocked 70% from my news feed. You can have your own opinion but stop forcing it on everyone else!!!

but this picture is a slap of an insult to those poor victums of the evil of Hitler. I see rational people (or so i thought) post these horrible things and frankly I worry for my children the way society is becoming
