I just can't...
I can't even open those threads about horrible things done to children and babies (2 currently on NFR). The subject lines are bad enough... ever since becoming a mother, those kinds of stories affect me SO much more.

I know. I was watching Titanic the other night and there was a scene after the ship sunk with a woman holding her baby in the ocean, they had both already died, and I lost it. Its horrible.

Those St. Jude's Children's Hospital commercials are so sad as it is, now with DD i can't even watch a second of them without crying or choking up.

I'm never really sure why people post news stories on here, why draw more attention to these people who do horrible things, thats giving them what they want...more attention! Its really pointless...

You know what, I totally agree. There really is no need to post those horrific stories. It's not a debateable topic. At least I hope I'm not wrong in assuming that EVERYONE thinks these are vile, disgusting people and acts. It's bad enough we have to hear about it on the news... I wish I didn't have to hear about it again when I go to NFR...
Everyone can post whatever they want within the rules of the site but I really don't see a need for reposting those kinds of stories.

Do you know I still havent watched the 5 point harness video for this exact reason...
As soon as I saw the word sad- and just judging by what its about- Im choosing to stay away from that video!

It took me weeks to finally make myself watch it. And when I did, I cried and was sad the rest of the night.

OMG I just saw that post. That is really DISTURBING. I dont think the post should have been entitled that - there should have been a warning IMO. Just reading the post was enough to trigger my emotions.
