I have the most stupid TTC question....
Because we all have that little ray of hope I have to make sure. I had bloodwork done to test my hormone levels to make sure I was O'ing. Everything came back fine and I was told that my level was so high that I O'd a few days before the test. So, since I am O'ing and DH and I have been BDing, they would have been able to tell in the test if I was PG, right? And since they didn't say I was, I can assume I am not. It is OK, I won't be sad- I can handle the truth

If you had only O'd a few days before the test - then no, the bloodwork would not have been able to pick that up.
Also, they would only know if you were pregnant if they ran a beta (hCG levels) - which they probably were not testing for at that time.

If you are only a few days after ovulation, no - they can't tell yet. A bloodtest should tell you before a pee test - but not a few days after ovulation - closer to 7-10 DPO.

ITA. The same thing happened to me last month with the bw and she said I had O'd over the weekend (this was a Monday) I asked if she could tell if I got pregnant and she said they couldn't tell that soon.

nope. If they are not actually testing for pg., then they're not going to pick it up.
And furthermore, if it was too soon after, it wouldn't be detectable yet.

Implantation doesn't happen until 6-10DPO, so if you were just a few day past O, then they wouldn't be able to tell... plus, like maybeamommy said, they'd have to run a different blood panel to see the pregnancy hormone. Hang in there!
