I have a wonderful DH
So, you might remember my upset rambling yesterday about being forced to come to work in bad weather, yadda yadda yadda. I had a talk with my manager yesterday who basically confirmed to me that no matter what, I am expected to show up, despite the weather and being pregnant, because my pregnant coverage partner "lives on a hill." Seriously. Whatever, I'm not even getting into details because they are ridiculous.
Anyway, DH's office is closed today due to the weather. When I woke up he delivered the news and I immediately started to get upset thinking about walking to the bus stop and taking the bus to the subway and then having to walk the city streets to get to work. He kind of laughed and said "I don't know why you're getting upset, I'll just drive you in." Yes, so my husband, who has a snow day today, got up before 6:00 to clean off the car and escort his pregnant wife to work because I'm "required" to be here.
I seriously love this dude. And they say chivalry is dead! He drove up onto the sidewalk to drop me off so I wouldn't have to even get wet. 
Hope you ladies are safe and warm today, whether at work or at home.

i cant even believe that because your co-worker lives on a hill that she gets a get out of work pass!! umm i would tell them you live on a hill too!
just nuts!! but glad you got to work safe!!
i was thankful cuz DH drove me in as well!

The coverage partner thing is total BS, and I could go on and on about it but I won't.

DH and I don't do pet names, but I call him a dreamboat when I feel like poking fun of the idea. It's especially funny to say infront of his colleagues (all good friends of ours)  .
