I have a REALLY stupid question....
But something that I've been wondering...
Since the m/c there has been no sign of AF.
*IF* AF decides to show up, how would I know it wasn't another early m/c?
Will I be able to tell the difference? Because the m/c felt just like a really bad AF with cramping.
Does that make sense?

cause I went throught the same thing
I started to m/c on Oct 11. One month ago 
I used an OPK to get a surge, so DH and I BD and we're hoping for the best.
But if I start to bleed...how do I know it's not another m/c vs. AF?
Would I call the OB and explain the situation and they'd have me come in for blood work?

Has your beta gone back down to <5?
If so, then maybe take another PG test around that time and see if it comes out positive...

I think only a blood test would tell you if you had a M/C (not talking about the old one)

Thats why they tell you to wait a full cycle. Im surprised that your OB didnt advise you to wait till AF came for that reason.
But...The only way I can think of to tell is to take an HPT when you get AF ( if you get it  )...If its an early M/c, you "might" get a really faint + on the test. If you dont, I would rest assured your 99% sure thats its truly an AF...make sense? Or either way test at 14 days past when you got the + on the opk.
Hope it doesnt come and you dont have to wonder.

The only way would be a blood test, so you can call your OB and they will most likely suggest a blood test.

well if your numbers dropped into the negative a HPT test would work. have you taken one since and has it been negative? if so, if you take another one prior to when you are supposed to get AF and it is negative then you know it is AF.

Usually I tell people not to test until AF is late, but in your case I would start testing before AF is due and keep testing straight through. I know it will be disappointing to get BFNs for several days if you are not pregnant, but in your case I would really want to know if I miscarried again.
