i have a confusing question
ok for those of you who use the Ovulation Calculators...
i notice that all the online calculators start the NEXT day after the start of AF to count. they dont start CD1 as the start of AF.. 
cause i O on the 14th day.. and if i count the next day after AF it is the 14th day... BUT if i counted the first day of AF (CD1.) it would be CD15 for day of O.
did i just confuse everyone

ok... ill give you my calculations for this month!
i got AF on Aug 22nd. so if i start counting on the 22nd as CD1 and continue to CD14.. it puts me at the day before i O..
but then if count the 23rd as CD1.. it will put me right at CD14 And ovulation date..
im confused as to how they come up with their calculations..and how they actually count?
from CD1 OR next day being CD1

I don't think they're counting the 23rd as CD 1 - I just think they're saying you are going to O on a different date than you were thinking.
Not everyone ovulates on CD 14 - actually, I think it's pretty rare!

ok so your saying these calculators always start off as CD1 on the first day of AF?
if so , then yea you are right.. i am Oing on CD15. hmmm...so that could mean that i am BDing on the wrong days..

What site are you using?
I use mymonthycycles.com and tbey count Cycle Day 1 as the first day of my period.
My average CD has been 32 days and it calculates the ovulation day by the histroy of when I had my period. I check with the CBEFM and it seems that the website is always off a little and I actually ovulate earlier than it tells me that I am going to.
I just use it as a guide but use the CBEFM and the digital ovualtion tests as backup.

i use this website as well... i just wasnt sure if they counted CD1 as the first day of AF. but i guess they do 
i think next month i am going to try the digital OPK's and that ... see how off it is.
