Thank you all so much!! It means a lot to me
Now I am contemplating on having DH write on it. I am getting nervous because you only get one shot and I am worried that the color icing will run into the fondant. We are using blue icing for the writing.
Maybe I will forget writing on it and just put her #1 candle in. I mean, we all know it is Alexa's Birthday
What do you think?

I would not write on it, it will take away from the gorgeous cake, IMHO

You did a fantastic job!!!
I wouldn't have him write on the cake either. Instead I would make another snowflake and have him write it on the snowflake and then put it with the cluster of snowflakes.
I made my DD a backpack cake for her 2nd birthday and made a sign and wrote happy birthday on it that way and just put it on the plate. It look so much better and didn't ruin the cake.
