I feeling like pulling out my hair
my poor little boy James has been through so much. He was born 15 wks early at 1lb 14oz and 13 inches long. He spent the 1st 72 days of his life in the NICU. When he came home to us he was still on Oxygen and a Pulsox Machine. He went to some sort of Dr. at least once a wk for the 1st 6 months that he was home from the hospital.
We were given a clean bill of health finally when he was a yr old. I thought we could finally breath.
well at his 2yr well visit, I raised the conern that he had not grown very much in the past yr. That started a new cycle of blood work and a new set of specialists.
No one can figure out what is wrong...but they all believe that something is wrong. I'm so fustrated. I just want to know what to do. How do I help my little boy? and no one seems to know. I thank God everyday for my babies, and I pray that they are both healthy and happy.
I hate putting him through all these doctor visits and tests...but I need to know for sure that everything is ok...and since the Dr.'s think that there is cause for concern...we have to keep looking.

We went through the same thing w/Amber and there's nothing wrong w/her. There is nothing wrong w/James either. He's a healthy/happy little boy. We just have "petite" kids

I know how you feel....it really stinks when our babies have something wrong. Reminds you to cherish each moment. As a mom I know you are going crazy wanting an answer...I hope you get one soon

that was the 1st specialist we saw...he couldn't find anythign wrong...told me to come back when he is 3

You are doing all that you can. My niece was like that and after 2yrs she started to grow a little more each day. It just might take him time to grow. As long as he's a happy and healthy baby he will be fine. Don't get too stressed over it. Get a couple more opinions if your nervous, but he's only 2 yrs old and has plenty of time to grow.
I'll keep you guys in my prayers.
