I don't understand Zillow????
I went on Zillow. I live in a court where every house is the same except for 2 houses that are ranches.
How is it that my neighbor's house is 100K more than mine when it is the EXACT SAME HOUSE??????
Also Zillow has my other neighbor's house listed as 300K MORE than mine. It is a smaller house and sold two years ago for 400K. No improvements have been made. Obviously this had to be a mistake.
Do people really take this site seriously? I am looking to re-finance.

No one goes by Zillow, at least not banks, real estate agents, etc...
Zillow does not take into consideration any updates that were done to a house as well.
Zillow is depressing IMO

Also - some people update their listings on Zillow while others don't.
Our "zestimate" never makes sense. We had our house appraised last year for $50k higher than the "zestimate".

Zillow goes off of the assessment value or the taxes....
