I dont really go to the dr but I have to I guess now.....re podiatrist I guess??
I thought I had a splinter or glass in my foot like 2 or 3 months ago so I took a tweezer and went to town.....well nothing came out and when I squeezed it it looked kind of cauliflauer like (like my dds wart) anyway its still here and infected
do you need a refferal for a podiatrist and is that who I would see?

Your primary care doctor may be able to take care of it, depending on what it is. I would probably start there, mostly because my doctor usually will not give me a referral without seeing me first.

as far as referrals go, it depends on your insurance. most plans allow you to see a specialist without a referral. do u have an hmo? if so, then chances are u need one. it usually says so on the back of your card.
