I dont know when I'm ovulating
So my period decides to come whenever it wants. I'm using 2 android apps to track my period so I know when I'm ovulating.
Should i buy an ovulation kit? If so which one and can someone explain how they work? I'm so clueless when it comes to baby making.

Not everybody ovulates when they're "supposed" to. I just started using OPKs and am finding out that I ovulate later than I originally though. You can try the Clear Blue Easy digital OPKs, they're very easy to use and to read. The other thing you can do is temping but that's more involved. I would start with OPKs and take it from there

in may i decided to play around with a opt. on cd 15 i got a smilely face
i skipped june because i didnt want to drive myself crazy keeping track
this month dh was getting a little worried so i decided to go all out and keep track of everything!!!
today is cd 12 i just got a postive from my opt.
im also temping
what android app do you use?
im using ovuview and i love it!!!!!
oh and i paid the extra $5 to get all the features

I would temp. That is the only way (outside of going to the Dr) to know when you ovulate.

If you don't want to get into temping, I would definitely start using an OPK to get an idea of when you might O. I've tried the line ones and did okay with them. I do prefer the CBE digital ones since there's less guess work to them.
I think that the apps and websites really just guess based on how long you tell them your cycle. They are assuming your O and LP are average which many people are not.

CBE DIgital is the easiest to ready. Its either yes or no, no trying to figure out if the line is darker than the control line. Just remember and OPK does not detect ovulation.....only the surge in hormone levels. You can surge and not O, temping will tell you if you actually O.

I used the line wondfo opks to track for O. It worked for me...although reading the lines was annoying. I started testing with the opk on CD10....got my positive result on CD15 and  that day.
