I didnt realize how much I need Dh until
he had left wrist surgery yesterday and only has use of his right hand for the next 3 months
so now I have to help DH shower,cut his food and evrything and he cant hold DD
so she has to COME EVRYWHERE with me
this is gonna be a LONG 3 months
but DH is doing well and thats the important thing

I had major surgery on my elbow last fall, and I couldn't use my arm for quite a while. Couldn't hold my 5mo DD 
However, if you're resourceful, it's quite amazing what you can do with just one hand, so don't let him get away with too much (give him at least a month, though....)
Sweatpants can go on easily with one hand. T-shirts, too. There are thousands of people a year who have learned to shower with one arm because their other arm is in a cast.
For meals, just give him some baby/toddler food.... no cutting needed! 
Glad to hear he's doing well so far, though.
