I could not hold back the tears the other night....
when Leah got her first 1st Birthday card in the mail. 
I started reading it to her and I could not fathom the idea that I was reading a card to MY daughter and that she was already ONE!!!
DH laughed at me for crying, but it was such a cheesy sentimental moment
(OK, I admit, I can  at myself now!)

You are not alone. I found myself with tears in my eyes when I was picking out DD's 1st bday card from me and DH. It's a bitter sweet moment.
