I can't sell on eBay anymore
Here's the message I get when I tried to list something for sale on ebay the other day.
"You can not submit your listing due to the following problems.
We regret to inform you that your eBay account is prohibited from listing additional items at this time. In order to maintain a safe trading environment, selling limits are occasionally placed on accounts. This selling limit is in no way meant to question your record with eBay or standing within the eBay community. To resolve this situation, please contact eBay's SafeHarbor Department using the Webform on the following help page"
But I can't find the SafeHarbor Department on ebay.

I don't understand why they would do that.
I got mad when they changed the rules of selling and you HAVE to offer Paypal. I don't have a paypal account or a checking account to use. I haven't been able to sell anything on there in a long time

I just looked all over eBay and tried to find the Safeharbor Dept and I can't find it. Have you tried using the "live help" maybe they can tell you where to find it. HTH

Whever you do don't click any links in that email you got. They will probably take you to a fake ebay site.
I would open up a new browser window and type ebay.com and try to list something.
This sounds like a scam.

if there are any links in the email--you can easily tell if its fake by the website address it takes you to. usually it will have a lot of numbers and such in the address vs. it just saying www.ebay.com/....
fwd the email to [email protected]
they will verify if its real or not for you

I had the same thing happen to me. it is a fraud alert that has been put on your account. I received this when someone hacked into my account and set up approximately 50 fake auctions under my name for sunglasses. I have to tell you it was a total pain in the azz to have corrected. Ebay told me the theft of my account may not have been recent either...these professionals gather lots of names and passwords and then use them as needed. That is why it is recommended that you change your password every month or so. Good luck with getting this resolved. it was not a one day process.

I remember not being able to find the safe harbour thing either. Happened ot me, someone listed something on my account.
Theres a button to get assistance ( like an IM) thing on Ebay. Use that.

yes def do so, my Dh had the similar problem and they took care of it, but he called them, b/c you can't always trust the email.

Do you sell designer stuff? I think they started to limit how much designer stuff one person can sell at a time. It is to protect from counterfeiting.

I found the whole ebay experience less than satisfying....what happens is you are supposed to fill out a web request like it says in your message on the website. However, I was concerned that my paypal account was compromised so I was not accepting of not getting to speak someone. you are going to have to be VERY aggressive. You are going to need to click on the help link and click on live help. SafeHarbor can only be accessed from a link provided by a customer service person and they may not give it to you. You need to cause a stink. you may need to disconnect and then start another live session until you get someone to help you. I did finally resolve it but it was not an easy process.
