I cannot take the comments at work another minute
Dont get me wrong Im very happy and blessed to be preggo but I cant
take the comments at work another minute. Every time I walk I get at least 6 comments
from people about being preggo- like I never existed before this pregnancy. They always
comment on my size and how Im still here and havent had the baby. Random people
want to know if Im dialated or when the Dr is going to check- um exuse me thats kinda
personal I dont need every tom **** and harry asking me about my cervix thank you very much.
Everyone is falling all over me- getting me my faxes off the machine that is literally 2 steps away from
my desk and saying how i shouldnt be walking around, seeing what Im eating and commenting, We have an ice cream
truck that comes to the office every Wed. Everyone finds it sooo hysterical that I like to get icecream every now and again.
They always comment and say how the baby is making me get ice cream and they are Shocked if I dont feel like eating ice
sream that day. I feel like saying to them " whats your exuse for getting icecream."
. Im afraid to get up and go to the bathroom for the comments. I just want to be left alone without being harassed by everyone everyminute of the day.
Sorry I just needed to vent this. Is anyone getting this way or are my hormones just raging today?

No I know exactly what you mean!! It really IS getting annoying...
It seems that you have it worse than I do but here's what I've gotten today:
"So HOW much weight have you gained??" (WHY do people feel it's okay to ask you this when you are pregnant. Hello, it's NEVER okay to ask a woman about her weight!!)
"Oh my God! You're still here?!"
"Are you sure it's not twins?"
"Can you still see your feet?"
And about 3 sentences that started with:
"By the looks of you..."
 We don't have much longer to go so hang in there... I'm seriously considering taking my leave a little earlier because of this!!

I always found it RUDE when people asked how much weight I gained so I told everyone 14lbs..even at 9 months prego I said, "Oh, 14lbs" and they would look at me and say "Really" and I would say "yes. it is great" and that was that. I was lying thru my teeth but it show how it is none of their business.

OK I hate when people ask me how much I have gained - I tell them and they say "WHOA - no wonder your legs are cramping" EXCUSE ME??
The other day I was out with some friends - I had to go to the bathroom - so one girl insisted on going with me becuase there was a step into the bathroom and she didn't want me to miss is....Hello, I'm pregnant - not stupid!

I am almost 4 months and this is exactly why I haven't told anyone at work and don't plan on telling them for as long as I can. I told my boss in strict confidence and thats it! People are so annoyinG! Hang in there ~ you don't have long to go before you are home with your new babY~!

I'm so sorry you're going through this! It makes me glad that I'm not working right now. I get annoyed just by the stares I get when I go in the supermarket. It's like people have never seen a pregnant woman before! Just keep telling yourself "It will all be over soon..."

People are so annoying! This is partly the reason I am not looking forward to telling work about being PG. Some people need to know when to mind their own business.

I have to tell you the worst comment i got when I was preggo was wow you must be having a girl cause she sucked the beauty right out of you hows that for nice lol. needless to say I had a boy but couldnt wait to get away from those co-workers

I agree....I have eaten lunch everyday for the past 2 months in my office or out with my friend...never in our buildings cafeteria because I can't stand the comments and non stop questions.
And there is a social misfit in my office who asks the dumbest questions. Like...."how does a woman know she is pregnant? and so how long is pregnancy? 9 months is it? By the way he is about 50 years old.

lol the post on LIW about how old are you stefanie from your obgyn. thats ok when i gave birth the nurse asked me if i wanted to order from the kiddie menu lol so i did i milked it and got choc milk and choc pudding lol.

Plus I work from home, so other than my dog and DH, I will have no one to fuss over me.... not that either of them do anyway....
