I cannot hold it for 4 hours

I tried yesterday and by 2 hours and 45 minutes, I was in tears from the pain. I've tried all week and I never made it past 3 hours.

I had to test. And no smiley face for me.

I am on CD16, my first month off of BC, so I really have no clue what my cycles are. And DH is getting restless.

Has anyone gotten a positive OPK on less the 4 hours? Please give me hope that I haven't o'd yet. I did have EWCM yesterday.

I am definately going to temp next month as well.

I got a + OPK this month and I only was able to hold for about 3 hours. I had to call DH from the car and tell him to get the OPK unwrapped for me because I knew I would barely get my pants down in time, let alone get an OPK unwrapped.

I normally pee every 20-40 minutes while I'm at work, so to help I would stop drinking all liquids at 3pm (having gum helps). I would pee somewhere around 4/4:30 and then I was able to hold it in until about 6:30/7. I would have my cup and OPK ready and waiting for when I got home.

Not drinking anything is more important than not peeing when you're testing with OPKs. You should be fine if you hold it in for 2 1/2 - 3 hours.

I have to be honest I did not hold for 4 hours...maybe 2..and I got my positive opks and now im almost 9 weeks prego..good luck..dont torture urself!

I've gotten smiley faces when holding it for 2 hours tops.
