I believe in temping!!
I got the temp spike indicating that I O'd. I have to say, it's pretty liberating to take all the guessing out of it. "Did I O? Didn't I O? What if I O'd yesterday , what if I O today? , etc"
Now I know and can time  around it.
Im an advocate!!
And now the wait begins.... Wish me luck!!

Quick question when you O'd temping was it around the same days you got a pos opk?? I'm so curious I may take this route next month should I be out

I really want to start temping too. I just don't get up at the same exact time everyday, I get up when DS gets up and I honestly don't want to get up any earlier
Do you have to take it exactly at the same time everyday, or can it be within like 20 minutes of one another?
It must be comforting to know that you actually O'ed! Good luck!

yes! i love temping too...i use the OPKs to know before i O and temping to confirm i O'd.
last month i knew i was going to be out without having to test because of the drop in temps from 11-13DPO
now i'm hoping my temps stay up this month

you should check out fertility friend's website...there is alot of info on exactly how temping works and why its beneficial.
it basically lets you know that you O'd and can reflect any hormonal issues.

same time every day..even on weekends..but u dont have to get outts bed..u can set alarm take it then go back to bed if u want lol

Hmmmm, maybe I will try to do it that way. I am already on CD6 (but I have long cycles) so I should probably start soon Thanks!

you should take it at the same time every day. You're temps are low in the first phase of your cycle (follicular I think its called) and then they rise after ovulation (Leutal Phase) you dont know you Od until after it happens.
But for me, I always assumed I Od around CD 18-20 because I get EWCM from day 17-18. Turns out, I was right...
I didnt learn anything new about my body but it's comforting to be reminded that its ok to trust my body and let it tell me what's going on.
IT also helps to time
Check out the book, taking charge of your fertility... I learned SO MUCH! I use that website to chart my cycles.

That's a good question. I dont use OPKS. I've heard they are unreliable and don't always work. I dont need to pee on another stick that's going to stress me out. That's just me though...
Some girls find it helpful.
If you temp, you actually dont have to use OPKs at all.
