I am so happy I could cry!!!!!!
For the first time in about 2 weeks, my one month-old DS is not uncomfortable!
No gas that smells like rotten eggs, no constipation, no endless crying. No more stiffened legs! We switched his formula at this time yesterday and he is a DIFFERENT CHILD.
He's laying here on the bed next to me kicking his legs, getting all excited, smiling at me and COOING!
I know we are not out of the woods yet--it can take 3-5 days for a new formula to start really getting into the system...but for once, I'm optimistic that we might get some sleep tonight!!!

Congrats!!
We had him on Good Start. I was so surprised that he didn't do well on it...it was great when we switched my DD to formula. He was even reacting badly to breastmilk.
We switched him to Up & Up Gentle, which is the same as Enfamil Gentlease. So far, it is making a world of difference!!!

YAY...It feels great when your baby is feeling good. We went through 4 formula's before we found the right one...I hope it continues for your DS....

Congrats! This is exactly what happened to us when we switched DS from Similac Advanced to Similac Sensitive RS. Within a day, we had a new baby AND that evenning is when he started STTN!

HURRAY!!!! I'm so happy to hear this, Beth! That was the magic formula for Chase, too (and we use the Up and Up, also). The Good Start was terrible for Chase, too. He'll just keep getting better now, too And just so you know, BRU gentle formula, it's made by the exact same company as the Up and Up, so we switch back and forth depending on coupons and sales

Good to know, thanks!!
Well...even though Brendan is clearly feeling MUCH better, it hasn't been the miracle cure we needed to help him sleep longer at night. It's definitely BETTER, because we're not struggling to get him back to sleep--it's usually just about 10 minutes of patting his butt and he's back off to dreamland.
But for some reason, he's still waking up every 1 1/2 hours from when we put him back down I'm not sure what's going on. He'll nap well during the day (on the exact OPPOSITE schedule from my DD ), but only on his tummy. I am way too scared to let him sleep on his tummy at night.
So, we are a work in progress...but the gas has decreased greatly and he seems a lot happier.
