I am SO frustrated. **UPDATE**

Just got my voicemail. They upped the dosage to 100iu for the next 3 days. i go back on Thursday.



Went in for monitoring again this morning. So- After 5 days of 25iu of follistim, the biggest follicle was 8.5mm. So they increased the dosage to 50iu for another 5 days. Went in this morning(CD13) and the biggest follicle is STILL 8.5mm!!! Why won't they freakin' grow?? How far into the cycle will they go before they trash it and start over? The NP said they will probably increase to 75iu now. I am really trying to be positive about this, but it's so hard to do that when this isn't working! And I know they have me on a small dose for a reason (PCOS), I UNDERSTAND that, I just can't believe they were so nervous I would hyperstim, and instead NOTHING is happening. I am just ANNOYED at my ovaries.

I honestly can't believe they put you on such a low dose. I guess this is your first time stimming with Follistim? Hopefully this time works for you ( ) but if it doesn't, at least they know to start you off much higher next time around.

I just remember my first cycle they started me at 75!! Hopefully the 75 will be it for you.

Yes, this is the first time. I did some research on the internet and on here, and I never saw anyone starting on such a low dose. So frustrating.

I hear ya i have been slowly responding to clomid. THey upped my dosage 3x this cycle I go tomorrow for another sono and more bloods.
