I am just so horrified
I don't understand why there has to be so much tragedy in the world....kids dieing and being raped and killed
I have been up for 2 days since that Oprah show about pedefiles and that poor girl who was buried alive
so now my house is all locked and windows shut and locked and I cant sleep and I have been crying for 2 days ..............I was finally letting my 9yr old walk to the bus stop without me
WELL NOT ANYMORE OR EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

It it so true...when we were kids we were so innocent and carefree stuff like this didnt happen.I remember playing all day and having to be in when the street lights went on, now it seems my kids are prisoners in our own backyard. Its sad Our kids have so much more to worry about, its horrible

I know...I watched the show and I'm always thinking about Marissa getting lost or being taken away. After the show I was crying. Dh gets mad at me because I torture myself w/ that stuff.

OMG how true. I totally agree with you. My husband says I'm being over protective. I don't think so. They are my kids! I fear for them and now with Halloween. My son wants to go out trick-o-treating with his friends, without supervision. He's twelve. I think that's still to young.
I try so hard to give them their space. But boy oh boy you're right when you say we live in a sick world!
 that they are safe everyday. Even when they are in school.

I hear ya. It's a crazy world. I always log onto the NYS sex offender site also. I feel like you can never be too safe.

At least I'm not the only one. I've actually gotten their address and driven past their houses to see if I can see these horrible people they let back into society.
Honestly I think that we should put them on an island all by themselves with no way of getting off!  Then they can bang at one another!
