I AM HOME! LOL... no baby.... yet! (long story)
OK.... I'll sum it up as best I can 
Last night - major contractions coming every 2 minutes, but not getting stronger. This morning, nothing, just bloody dishcharge. So I called the office as you know and they wanted me to come in for just a labor check.
At the office: I see Dr. A. Explain everything and he does an internal. He goes..."Hmmm, have you ever had an procedure on your cervix?" Why yes, I had it frozen for pre-cancerous cells a LONG time ago. Ah ha.. he proceeds to tell me that I have scar tissue on my cervix that is preventing me from dilating and he can feel the bag of waters just about to go at any minute. He says I am in labor and that he wants to send me over to the hospital to break my waters to get things going. He feels the scar tissue is preventing things from happening and that's why my water hasn't broken.
OK... I go to the hospital. I have a minor melt down in the car.. crying... freaking out... SCAR TISSUE??? How come no one noticed this before.
At hospital: Dr. L is on duty. She's busy delivering other babies.. so in the meantime I am hooked up to the monitor. Contractions coming every 3-5 minutes, not a big deal, last night's were much worse. So I'm lying there and lying there and lying there. Baby is fine, not being bothered by contractions, heartbeat great. A few hours go by and Dr. L comes in and is like "So, why are you here?"  Does NOT want to break my water, sees NO reason to stir things up. Does NOT want to give me petocin. She KNOWS that I want to go naturally, we've discussed my "plan" and she just doesn't see any reason for me to be there or to have any interventions.
So... I'm like, Well, what's this about scar tissue and not progressing... she's like, you're completely thinned out, you're way ahead of the game.. it's just a matter of when your water will break, but knowing how you want this to go, why would I move things along and then have other things happen that aren't necessary.
Totally on my side. I questioned Dr. A's prognosis and she just looks at me and says "2 doctors.. 2 ways of doing things"
THANK GOD she was on duty! Dr A was all ready to just pop my bag of waters and move things along when there was absolutely NO need for it 
THIS IS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT!!!! UNNECESSARY INTERVENTIONS!!!
So, Dr. L says... go home, labor at home, call me when they get REALLY bad or your water breaks.
End of story!! Minus the baby 
So annoying.

This is what Dr L said. When she sawe I was coming in and why she was dumbfounded because of what her and I had talked about.
My sister was like THANK GOD!! You never know what would have happened if they broke your water! So, I'm home, STILL having contractions, but they're not strong enough to dilate me... that why I'm not dilating... DUH!!

Sorry you went thru all that but at least you got what you wanted so far. Tell the baby to hold off until Dr. L is back on duty though.

Maybe no baby yet, but very very sooooon, YAY!!!!! So glad Dr. #2 understands your plan, and will work with you. I think way to often Dr.s just want to rush it along.

Well, it's good that the dr at the hospital understood your birthplan and wishes. I am not sure most dr. would have let you go home.
I guess you just have to wait a little bit longer at home... but at least you can see the bright side that someone respected your wishes and let you go all natural the way you want to do it.

I think it is wonderful that your Dr respected your wishes. It is amazing how 2 different Dr saw things differently. I will pray to your baby tries to make it on its own and very soon!

WOW! Well Im glad you had that choice , and Im also glad on a personal level since I have the SAME thing with the scar tissue and Im glad to hear the Dr. Thought that you were able to go naturally ( dilating) regardless.
Ok, I give ya till Sunday at the latest!

Typical...I bet I can guess who Dr. A and Dr. L was!!! hope things go according to plan and you have a wonderful birth! Baby is on the way  yippee for you.

I wanted the baby to come today too! Well, as long as he/she arrives before or after the shower tomorrow, you can have her Chelle!! :)

I'm feeling OK. Just tired from being up all night with contractions. Now it's starting to rain AGAIN, so DH and I can't go for a walk So I'm walking around the house in circles and squatting!
Still having contractions and they're kinda stronger than when I was in L/D today.

You most likely started your labor process. I have heard it can go on and off for a couple of days until the REAL thing. But then, when you go to L&D, you are really ready and don't need drugs to "push" things along.
