i left allison in daycare for the very first time!!!!!!!!!!! okay, okay it was only for 2.5 hours, but STILL!! she's alive and well! and so am i!!
i had pre-registered her for drop-in daycare...basically, if i ever needed to leave her for a short amount of time, i could. today DH told me he would get out of work early and we should catch a movie. this was our first date since allison was born in january!!!
we all did really well. i was glued to my phone the entire time though, worried that i'd get "the" call from daycare that she wasn't adjusting, but to our delight, she was great! DH and I had a really great time too, we saw a chick flick the ugly truth - REALLY funny!
in the end, we all had a great afternoon and will def be repeating it soon! yay!!!
