how many ounces do you think he drinks a day? this is where I'm getting thrown off! Joey just seems uninterested in his bottles lately Chat Icon So I'm wondering if I'm feeding him to close in times. but it's pretty much the same as yours.

Mason is 14 months and pretty much on the same schedule only he's on milk and 4 - 6 oz in his bottle
Oh, and he still hates table food Chat Icon

His bedtime has been 7:15ish since he was 5 months and still goes down at that time. His first bottle is usually at 7 - 7:30AM

Re: Humor me- 9 month old feeding schedules

At that age DD had something every 2ish hours...

wake up - bottle
9 - breakfast
10:30/11 - bottle & nap
1 - lunch
3 - bottle
5:30/6 - dinner
7:30/8 - bottle & bed

ETA: Bottles were 6 oz each but usually left an ounce over so she'd get anywhere between 20-24 oz a day.

This is almost exactly DDs schedule except she goes to bed at 7 so her last bottle is 4 oz. I'm thinking of taking away a bottle soon since she eats more food now.

Re: Humor me- 9 month old feeding schedules

DS has been on the same schedule for 3 months now. The only table foods that he will pick up and eat are cherrios and puffs. My mom said that he actually picked up grilled cheese yesterday and ate a few pieces Chat Icon , but he refuses to touch any "wet" foods.

730 6 oz bottle (usually drinks 5 oz)

830 4 tablespoons oatmeal and 1/2-1 jar fruit + and some cherrios

noon 6 oz bottle (only drinks 4-5oz)

1:30 jar fruit or veg & yogurt and cheerios or puffs

4:00 6 oz bottle

5:30 4 tablespoons oatmeal and 1/2-1 jar fruit + and a few puffs

8:00 6 oz bottle

I'm wondering if I could do 3 bottles, 7oz each.

Re: Humor me- 9 month old feeding schedules

Here is mine:

5:30 Chat Icon 7 oz bottle
7:30 - 3T oatmeal, 4 oz fruit
8:30 - 4 oz bottle
12:00 - about 4-6 oz food
12:30 - 4 oz bottle
3:30ish (whenever they get up from their nap) - 4-7 oz bottle
5:00 - 3T mixed grain cereal, 4oz food
6:00 - 7 oz bottle

On average, they drink about 25-28 oz of formula a day.

ETA I would love to combine some of the bottles and cut it down to 4 but I'm not sure how to do this.

Re: Humor me- 9 month old feeding schedules

DD has been the same for about a month now (she's 10 months)

Wake 6-630 and nurse
730-8 breakfast - fruit and oatmeal (puree) or/and cheerios, egg, waffle or pancakes
930ish nap
11 nurse
12 lunch - puree of veggies or shredded chicken, cut up veggies, pasta, cheese and a yo baby
2ish nap
3 nurse
5 dinner - similar to lunch
630 ish bath, nurse, bed

She prefers to eat what we are eating and all things she can feed herself, but I get nervous that she's not getting enough veggies/fruits if I give her all table foods so I still try to sneak in a puree a day.

She eats basically all table foods - really likes pasta, grilled cheese, meatballs, fresh fruit

Re: Humor me- 9 month old feeding schedules

I give john 7 oz in each bottle he mostly drinks it all except for maybe an oz. So he is basically drinking 28 oz per day. I know daycare's 2:30 bottle they seem to have a hard time giving him b/c he just wants to play.. so I'd say he is getting 25-28 per day.

That would be good but I'd have to adjust the times a little. Unfortunately they are up at 5am, I leave them in their cribs awake and talking to each other till around 5:30 when they start screaming for food. They usually nap between 9-11, and 2-3:30 (roughly). I'm thinking maybe I could give them more table food at lunch and cut out that 12:30ish bottle? Maybe I will try this Friday. Thanks. Glad I was no help for you Chat Icon

Re: Humor me- 9 month old feeding schedules

DD is 10 months, but has been on this schedule since just after she turned 9 months(when she dropped from 4 bottles to 3).

8:15am 8 oz bottle
9am breakfast-usually jar fruit and oatmeal and table food(whatever daycare has that I have ok'd for her)

11:30 lunch-yogurt(yo-baby 3 in 1) and whatever table food daycare has.

2:30 8 oz bottle, and sometimes a little snack

6 or 6:30...a veggie/meat jar combo, or our dinner cut up...or some combination of the 2 and sippy cup with water(she usually drinks maybe 2 oz of water.

8 or 8:30 8 oz bottle.
