hsg and glucose tolerance tests????

i need to take both of these tests before my next re appt on the 16th. the problem is i only have off on the 11th. Those who have taken this test, do you think it's possible to do them both in the same day???

i did the glucose test.. have not done the hsg yet... i would say yes b/c the glucose test is bloodwork and the hsg is an xray so im thinking it can be done in one day.. do the glucose in the morning and the hsg after

I have not had the glucose test but if its just a blood test you will be fine doing both. The HSG is just a little uncomfortable, some minor cramping during and maybe a little cramps afterwards but nothing too bad at all.

is the glucose test the 2 (or is it 3?) hour one? I forget. Anyway, if its that, its long and boring and the drink they give you is gross but no biggie. I'd do that one first, then do the hsg in the pm. good luck!

You could do both the same day...the glucose test is done in the morning and you have to fast for 3 hrs...I got sick and light headed so bring some cookies and OJ to try and combat that...the HSG test is quick too so if you get an afternoon appt. you will be fine.
