Going for one tomorrow- how long do they take? I'm literally running out during work, I hope i'm not in pain as I'll be working late tomorrow night!

Re: HSG
It doesn't take long - I'm trying to remember, maybe half an hour at that. Its not too bad. I was a little crampy after but some people are totally fine. Good luck!

Re: HSG
I had to wait for about 20 minutes before the procedure... The actual HSG took maybe 5 minutes... Was VERY crampy during the procedure but after just felt a lil crampy. The cramps went away for me after about an hour. Bring a pad or something tho cause the dye leaks out for a little while afterwards. (At least that's with happened with me!)
Hope everything goes well!! GL!!!!

Re: HSG
thanks everyone. i had it done and all looks good! My goodness it was very painful though, but it went in waves, so it was tolerable. and yes very crampy but i don't usually don't get AF cramps, so this was extra hard on me. so sorry for all you girls who have to deal with AF cramps each month!

At least it's over and u won't have to do it again.
Mine was super painful too. I got very sick afterwards. I give a lot of credit to the girls who have it done during their lunch break!

I got sick too. It sounds like each experience truly is individual. I think everyone can agree that the actual testing is painful but seems like the after effects vary.
