Good Luck Lisa...I'm praying for you. As someone who's had both tubes (even the cauterized one) removed, I know how you feel. I felt so much better when they finally got rid of them both.

no need...its not leaking, I saw it myself, and believe me he tried...ouch!!!
He will do the surgery if I insist, but he quoted some research stats by an RE from CCRM that said that having a cauterized tube in doesn't make a difference on pg rates or something like that...

Decisions! GL with whatever you decide! I am sure it is a difficult one. I know you wanted your tube leaky to help you better decide to remove it. So the plus side is that you don't have a leaky tube!

Lisa, Good Luck with whatever you decide to do.
I'm curious though - LIIVF wouldn't let me start my IVF cycle until my cauterized stub of a tube was removed, and the one that was partially blocked were both removed in order to avoid a potential ectopic.
I'm wondering if that was because of my history of ectopics or something else??
Would you feel more comfortable with the tube out?
