HSG & BD'ing....
I go on Monday....does anyone know if there are restrictions for BD'ing for a period of time after?

I wasn't told of any restrictions but for me there was no way I wanted to BD that night - I was still uncomfortable, maybe the next night or night after was ok......

I have mine tomorrow so I'll let u know what they say! When I scheduled it, they told me a million things, but didn't mention anything about not BD'ing B4 or after.

my dr. also said alot of the times even if there arent problems "it cleans the pipes" and you are more fertile.
are they doing it on a particular day in your cycle?

Mine said absolutely NO BD from AF until the HSG.... and that PCs were done around O time... (and HSG has to be before you O)

I have to have a blood beta on saturday morning and was told no BD from that moment until after the test.

I was restricted from BDing before the HSG (to ensure I was not pg, I think). I had no restrictions following the test. In fact, the nurse told me to go home and BD b/c she said you may be more fertile afterwards. Well, she was right - I got pg two days later! best of luck

It is going to be CD10 when they do it
thats when i was supposed to do it, except they couldnt schedule me as they 'were booked"
however, the probably want you to abstain before the test, but if you're up to it the day after, probably ok..as you maybe super fertile after the test.

I definitely don't think I'll be up for it that night but I was wondering if we could start up again the day after or so to hopefully get a chance in this month!

This is correct. It's what my Dr said and I double checked with my MIL (nurse for 40 years)

They told me not to BD for 24-hours afterwards to prevent infection. She said we could go crazy tomorrow!
