HPT

What is the earliest you can test using a HPT? Does anyone know what tests detect the lowest amount of HCG?

I'm on CD 20 and am getting very impatient. I have been feeling really weird the past week. I don't know if it is just in my head or real. I've had some light cramping too for the past week.

When I was PG last time, it wasn't planned or expected so I never paid attention to how I felt. I really want to test, but I don't want to waste my time/money if it is still way to early. I don't know if I can wait till next week!!!!

First Response has something where you can test 5 days before your period is due.

How many DPO are you?

not sure. this is my first month trying and i am new to charting. FF guess-timates that I am about 6 DPO right now. My cycles are usually 28 days, however this is the first cycle after the birth of my daughter

I found First response and Dollar Tree to be the best.

Seems like 9dpo is the earliest but a BFN is not to be trusted till at least 14dpo.

i was impatient and took one anyway lol. it was negative...but it is really early so i'm not going to count it as a true result till a few more days.

I got mine on DPO 11 - I used Dollar tree and First response early result. I also used clear blue a few days later. I got a BFN the day before then over the next three days 5 BFP. It really depends on your system - some people don't get a + until they are late.

well i bought 5 tests so i have 4 more to use. lol

i just don't understand the cramping i have going on right now. i have been so uncomfortable for a week.

i got mine really really early, 8DPO with the first response early test

Do yourself a favor and wait until AF is expected. No matter how antsy you are, it's the smartest thing to do. You don't have to go through the agony of getting BFNs and find out later you really were PG and blame the test when quite simply, you weren't PG "enough." I think I read somewhere that the tests that CAN determine if you are PG 5 days early only predict that early in a very small number of women...really they just mean it's POSSIBLE to get a BFP that early.

yea i know. my thing is that i really don't know how my cycle is going to be. this was my first post partum cycle. i was always on the patch/pill so my cycles were regular there. we will see. this is going to be a LONG week!

I used First Response and got a BFP 5 days before my period or 10dpo.

I use www.early-pregnancy-tests.com, the midstream and dip tests, i tested 9dpo faint postive with last pg. I knew I was pg before the test came back positive too.
