im literally running around right now packing for a business trip. i wont be home until 13dpo...
know i know i *should* wait to come home and take a hpt with DH around...but i dont know if i can
is it ok if i pack one just in case i cant resist??
of course i already packed tampons etc just in case af shows ( she doesnt)
wwyd?? honestly - not the answer DH would want to hear

I also think you should wait.
The first cycle we tried, I ended up testing on my own (BFN), but when I told DH, he was really upset. And I felt awful for taking that experience away from him.

Personally I don't tell DH if I'm testing, he has kinda figured out when I test but he doesn't know from my mouth!  I want it to be more of a surprise for him! So I would test on the trip, then you can buy him a fun gift to tell him if its a BFP!

thanks ladies i def see where the two are coming from that say to wait. but i also realized...whenever i test (at home or not), DH wouldnt be home. He leaves for work by 6:30am and i dont even wake up until 7:30/8am.
hmmmm tough decisions, may pack one and try to resist

If you choose to resist I would not pack one! If you decide on the trip you want to test, then go buy one!

It depends on how you think your DH would react...it might be something fun to surprise him with when you get back.
You could always tell him you came back with an extra passenger

i agree. And 13dpo is better to hold off til anyway... better chance of a bfp than on 11 or 12dpo anyway
