how would you feel if you got this email from your SO:
"Hi Sweetie,
I am going holiday shopping in the city and I wanted to know if you are still a size 6 or if you have gone up to a size 8.
Love, Me"
ETA disclaimer: this is NOT an email i got from my DH, this is a story i heard on the radio. my DH has no idea what size i am 
UPDATE: so i heard this on mike and mike this morning. basically someone they work with sent this text/email to his wife and she bugged out.
i personally don't see what the big deal is but i knew i had to post it on here because it's so funny.

OMG mine would SOOOO do that!!!! IF he even knew my size to begin with, which is dubious!!!
First I'd laugh hysterically, then I'd post it on here  THEN I'd TELL him I posted it here, and he'd be all  which is far better than anything I could say to him.
I think it's funny because there's clearly no malice intended Now if it were a dig about leftover baby weight (and let's face it some guys are pigs and DO that), then he'd have to buy a suit of armor to protect himself from my wrath.....

It's funny because I have the odd man out when it comes to husbands it seems.
Not only does he know my size- he buys me great outfits on his OWN. (mostly!)
And even if I go up a size, he still insisits it's all in my head and buys the size down. (Which is frustrating and wonderful all at the same time! )
I guess I better be good to him this year at Christmas!

Yup--sounds like my hubby!
I'm quite fortunate that my DH is awesome at picking out clothes for me, and has no issues going to buy them. Heck he'll go and buy me bras and underwear and picks out GREAT things.
I know he's gonna be shopping this week for me--and I can't wait to see what he gets!
as for that email--I wouldn't flip out at all if I was that woman...heck he's tryign to get the right size!!
