How to tell the family...
I know I'm probably getting ahead of myself BUT DH and I were thinking of cute ways to tell our family.
This will be the first grandchild on my side so we wanted to do something special and tell everyone at once.
I'll be 12 weeks around Halloween - I was thinking of having a small get together at our house with both sets of parents, aunts and uncles for a "halloween party" give out "goody bags" and in my mom's and my MIL's put something baby related to break the news?
What do you think? and any suggestions of what we could give them? I was thinking of something that said "grandma's pumpkin" like a bib or a onesie or something...

I love your bib idea. Or maybe a onesie or little pair of shoes?
Or you could dress up like a mummy and tell them soon you will be a different kind of mummy

We told our friends at a Halloween party - I had on a regular outfit - jeans and sweater but no shoes and socks - I was barefoot and pregnant. :)

What about a pumpkin carving contest and you and dh do something baby related, the goodie bag is cute but could you wait all night to tell everyone.....

DH's cousin handed out mini pumpkins and wrote great aunt or great uncle, etc to tell the family.
