this thread is really upsetting me 
I cannot believe how many of your mom's went through menopause in their 40's!
I don't have too much longer to have a baby 
Everyone is different. There are plenty of people who have healthy children in their 40s. My MIL had her 4th (and last) child at 40 or 41. About 1 year ago, FIL's wife had her first child at 41. I think they're done having kids, but who knows.

Young, 43 due to chemo and medications to keep her cancer in remission.

I am not sure, she had my sister at 42 and I would say shortlly after she started.

My mom was about 46 or so. Her menopause was before she found out she had ovarian cancer.

My mom was pretty young - about 43 or 44 when it started.

I don't know my family history on this topic, unfortunately.
Both my mom and maternal grandmother had to have complete hysterectomies due to other issues before either of them went through menopause. I think my grandmother was in her 50s when she had her surgery, and my Mom was in her mid-40s (she was still getting her period every month when she had to have the surgery..)

 It's not the menopause that scares me as much as the fact that we, as women, lose a ridiculous amount of eggs at 30 and then hald of those are gone at 35. So our chances get harder and harder...don't put it off if you have a choice!!
