I had a family wedding when dd was 1 month... We left her with my friend who raised 3 kids.

DD has never been left with anyone other than family but we did that starting at 8 weeks becuase I had to go back to work. My mom, MIL, SIL and DH's cousin all watched her around that age. I'm sure my answer would be different if we didn't have family in the area.
At 6 mo we left DD with my parents overnight to go to an OOT wedding.

How old was your LO when you left them with a sitter?
DS stayed with my mom when he was 2 weeks old while DH and I went to a wedding.
Last week (DS was 9 weeks) DH and I were both sick so DS stayed with my mom overnight.

We've never had a sitter who wasn't family, but we left him with my mom at 1 month old to go to a wedding.

DS was 5 weeks when we went to a wedding. I don't remember how old DD was when we went out for the first time but she was my 2nd kid so probably younger than 5 weeks

DD was about 2 weeks old when we had our first date night but my mom was the one watching her. We make sure to go out at least every two weeks (thank God for mom).
I do plan on using a girl on my street for occasional babysitting in the future but not until DD is much older like 7 or 8 months at least.

Really early. DD was 2 weeks old on our anniversary, and my sister and family were visiting, and offered to watch her so that we could go out to dinner. We took them up on it, and I was so nervous, but she was fine of course. At 3 weeks, we had the rehearsal dinner for our friend's wedding, and she stayed with my ILs. At 4 weeks it was their wedding, which we were both in, and my mom stayed with her for the day.
After all that though, we hadn't left her with anyone until we went out two nights ago!
