how old was your child when you gave them milk?
just wondering... my ped. told me that icould give my son milk at his 9 month visit - i don't feel comfortable yet so i still give him BF and formula.

9 months does seem early. I started both my kids at 11 months, so when they hit 1 year, they were on all milk.

I plan to start in the next few weeks (she's a week shy of 11 months).
she's had sips of milk (from our cereal) and plenty of things made with milk, but I haven't given it to her in place of a bottle yet.

We started at one year only because Jenna was very intolerant to regular formula (she was on soy)-she had no problem switching though.
