How often does your DC pee on the potty? update with new question

Jack was going once an hour this morning. Then 10am hit and it's like he's going every 20 minutes. I tried cutting back his liquids so I can't imagine how often he would go if he had his normal amount.

How often does your child go?

ETA: Starting at 6:15 he peed on the potty 8 times. Had 2 poop accidents in his pants. Had 3 Pee accidents.

So this kid peed 11 times between 6:15 and 12:40. Doesn't that seem like alot?

When we first started underwear, we took him every half hour. Then after a few weeks, every hour. Now we take him every two hours and occasionally he will tell us he has to go. He tells us when he has to poop, or will just say he has to make poopie too while he's already sitting on the potty to pee. He's been in underwear since February. He has never had a poopie accident. He had 0-3 pee pee accidents a day in the beginning. Now he has an occasional pee pee accident, but is doing great. It's just a much longer process than I thought it would be.

If he has a big drink, I take him within the half hour.

(P.S. He still doesn't regularly tell us when he has to pee. He has to be told to go. Ped says it's normal and will come with time.)

Usually when she wakes up, and then about every 2 hours, or about 1/2 hour after a big drink. I don't have to take her (unless we are trying because we are going out) she tells me when it's time. The last 2 days she doesn't even want my help anymore. I hide outside the door and peek in but get told to go away if she catches me.

500 times a day if he is home

He loves to watch himself pee. I've actually seen him cut it off so that he can go back to pee again 10 mins later

But he can hold it while we are out. We went to Brooklyn Wednesday and it was 4hrs in the car all total and he never peed once or had an accident

ETA-Don't cut back on drinks, he needs to be able to feel having to pee. I totally loaded C3 up on juice the day we started training

Elizabeth is in there every hour in the morning. After her nap she doesn't want to go as often - and doesn't have to either which is odd but I guess that's just her. We've only been doing this for a week though.

I would say every 2 hour.

For the most part I think they can really go very often but at the same time I feel like they don't really empty each time which makes them have to go more often. Lucas started emptying more when he stood and based on when he tells me has to go (usually around every 60 - 90 minutes) it seems that he can go longer (or hold it in better).

he's been peeing in the potty for about a year so he holds it usually 3 hours (sometimes 2 or 4.) when he first was trained maybe every hour then hour and a half. it didn't seem to matter how much he drank though, he'd just pee more or less.

I started out training my DS standing. I have to admit, I never thought to have him sit!

He has been peeing on the potty for months now, and when he goes, he goes like an adult!! Its a HUGE amount of pee. He is amazed by it too. We started out taking him every 45 minutes to an hour. After a weekend, he just told us when he had to go...

I cant get him to poop on it though. I need help with that part....

UGH that is what my son does when I put him in undies. He even tells me "no undies ma ma, pee pee just come out!" lol

He doesnt understand to hold it...he'll pee very small amounts very often. We were going thru 10+ training undies by mid-day! I gave up but plan to try again soon. he'll be 3 in sept
